Bruce
Rector is the 2003 President of JCI (Junior Chamber International) a
worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs. JCI has 200,000
members between the ages of 18 and 40 and millions of alumni in over 100
countries.
In addition to serving as JCI President,
Rector is a lawyer, leadership development coach and author. Since 1997,
he has written an electronic newsletter titled "The Monday Morning Message"
that now reaches thousands of readers in over 80 countries. His series of
books, Monday Morning Messages are compilations of stories to be read
every Monday morning throughout the year for inspiration, encouragement
and motivation. He has led leadership development seminars in more than 20
different countries for participants from more than 60 countries.
Rector is a partner with the law firm of
Woodward, Hobson & Fulton. He lives in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife
Tabitha and his two-year old son Trevor.
As 2003 JCI President, Rector will be
traveling to about 60 countries where JCI is established. During his
visits he will be meeting JCI members, heads of state, and community
leaders on six continents.
