Cynthia
Archer has served as President and CEO, and Sr. Organizational Development
Consultant for Archer & Associates. Previously she served as its Chief
Operating Officer. In these capacities Cynthia has had the opportunity to
learn and experience every facet of organizational development and
understands the cultural changes and dynamics involved in enterprising and
innovating.
Prior to her roles with The Archer
Institute, Cynthia served as Operations Manager for Positive Aim Training
Seminars for 7 years. With Positive Aim, Cynthia had the opportunity to
put her degree in Education to work. She was involved in training
employees as their companies were experiencing a shift in paradigms,
especially companies moving toward a team-based environment.
Some of her training capabilities
includes communication skills, diversity, conflict resolution, coaching,
and an additional broad range of soft skills. She is also a certified
trainer for the PAR (probe-align-raise) program, a process designed for
leaders, coaches and teams to assist them in positioning their ideas to
obtain commitment throughout their organizations.
She has facilitated and lead many
organizations through a 3-day summit for the implementation of
Appreciative Inquiry, a positive approach to accelerating organizational
change.
As Cynthia has been involved in numerous
roles as a facilitator, it is no surprise that she now leads The Archer &
Associates Facilitation Team. Cynthia and the other trainers and
consultants of The Archer Institute have worked with a variety of
organizations in the role of facilitator. Some of these organizations
include SC Johnson Wax, Greater Cleveland RTA, North American Benefits
Network, Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, the Eastern Region Professional
Development Council, Johnson and Johnson, The ASTD National Leadership
Board, University of North Texas, and many others.
Cynthia has provided consulting and
training for Fortune 500 corporations in London, Amsterdam, Paris, the
West Indies, Hawaii, Mexico and Canada.
She is currently Co-Authoring her first
book due to hit the book stores this fall.
