 For
more than two decades, Eric Douglas has been helping organizations become
more successful – first as an executive, then as a consultant. As
president of Leading Resources Inc., Douglas has built a company that
provides top-quality services in three divisions: 1) business consulting;
2) management tools and books; and 3) executive workshops.
Educated at Harvard University, Douglas
began his career in the publishing industry, working for such companies as
Chronicle Publishing Company, Knight-Ridder, and McClatchy Newspapers.
Douglas was also a senior partner at BMR Associates, a media consulting
firm based in San Francisco.
Douglas has distilled his years of
management and strategic consulting expertise into his latest book,
Straight Talk: Turning Communication Upside Down for Strategic Results.
The book, a main selection of the Executive Book Club, offers a powerful
approach to communication and leadership.
Douglas, who has been recognized by the
Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) for his work, serves on numerous
boards of directors and devotes considerable time to charitable and
community projects.
